Beary First Birthday Party

BROOKS IS ONE! Time truly has flown by and I can’t believe my baby is already one. Planning his party was so fun for me. I loved searching all over Pinterest for inspiration and adding my own spin to it. We call Brooks “Brooksie Bear” so I thought the theme of “beary first birthday” was such a sweet theme.

I wanted to have his teddy bears be apart of the decor and I saw a video on TikTok showing DIY birthday hats for stuffed animals and knew I wanted to make some of my own. So I got some fabric from Hobby Lobby, some tiny party hats from Target, borrowed my MIL’s hot glue gun and got to making the sweetest little party hats. I will blog a DIY tutorial soon :)

I wanted to have a mix of neutral yet vintage yet colorful and I think it all came together so great. I loved adding the touch of color with the balloons, they were the perfect colors! I kept it all pretty simple overall but love how adding a custom cake and the fun custom party hats added to the uniqueness of the decor.

It was so fun getting to celebrate our little man with so many people we love. Even if he won’t remember this day I know it will stay with me forever. I can’t wait to show him all these photos one day and smile knowing it was such a sweet day.
